Funeral services for Paul Beck of South Holland, Ill., formerly of Grenada, are Saturday at 1 p.m. at Burning Bush M.B. Church with burial in Haven Rest Cemetery.
Mr. Beck, 68, died on June 18, 2018, at St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, Ind. He was born on Dec. 16, 1949, and was a graduate of Grenada High School Class of 1970.

Cora Eulalah Johnson

Cora Eulalah Johnson, 96, of Tupelo, formerly of Winona, died at her home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Funeral services are Friday at 2 p.m. in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Winona Garden of Memory in Winona.
Visitation is Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Alabama on July 17, 1921, to William and Minnie Lee Alexander Rodgers. She was a retired nurse’s aide at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona and was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Harvey Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Patricia Wrenn and Norma Malueg both of Tupelo; three sons, Charles W. Johnson, James Paul Johnson and Glenn Harvey Johnson, all of Tupelo; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Marcus A. McNeal

Funeral services for Marcus A. “Wee Wee” McNeal of Grenada are Saturday at 3 p.m. at First New Hope M.B. Church with burial in Haven Rest Cemetery.
Mr. McNeal, 39, died of natural causes at his residence on June 18, 2018. He was born on Sept. 8, 1978, and is a graduate of Grenada High School. Mr. McNeal enjoyed cooking, playing video games, watching movies and being around people.
Mr. McNeal is survived by his mother Dorothy Hanner of Grenada; father Jimmie McNeal; three sisters, Lecretia House of Detroit, Leslie McNeal-Woods of Grenada, and Dee McNeal of Jackson; and three brothers, Jimmy Woods and Joshua McNeal, both of Grenada, Timothy Bridges of Vicksburg.

Pearl ‘Vonya’ Seldon

Mrs. Seldon, 93, died on June 12, 2018, at UMMC-Grenada. She was born on Feb. 22, 1925.
Mrs. Seldon is survived by four daughters, Joyce Sykes, Diane Seldon and Dorothy Bowdry, all of Grenada, and Maple Nolan of St. Louis; son Tommie Lee Seldon of St. Louis; sister Lula Logan of Grenada; and three brothers, George Hardwick of Gore Springs, Emmitt Hardwick of Chicago and Mack Arthur Hardwick of Oswego, Ill.
