Frances Boyle Cooper

Frances Boyle Cooper, 91, of Grenada passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Grenada.
She was born Feb. 16, 1927, to Bremer Glen and Tyna Eunice Speir Boyle. Mrs. Cooper retired as head of research at Sunburst Bank, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a long-time member of First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Jim Nunnelee and Dr. Kevin Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include son Eddie Cooper (Mary) of Grenada; daughter Carla Ross (Ken) of Grenada; three grandchildren, Katherine McDonald (Travis), Amanda Ferguson (Will) and Trey Ross (Bridgette); and three great-grandchildren, Karlie McDonald, Jessa Ross and Haylie McDonald with two more great-grandchildren on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years Carl Cooper and a brother Glen Boyle Jr.

Cynthia Elliott

Cynthia Elliott, 61 of Coffeeville, passed away on June 9, 2018.
She was born May 31, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas, to James Burnell and Bobbie Jean Bardwell Anthony.  She was a homemaker who loved her family.  She loved to sew and garden.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband William G. Elliott of Coffeeville, two sons, William G. Elliott Jr. (Candace) of Coffeeville and Technical Sergeant Stephen A. Elliott (Gayle) of Dyess AFB; grandchildren Dalton Elliott, Addyson Elliott, Jon Wyatt Elliott and Jameson Ray Elliott, two sisters, Laurie McCammon of Senatobia and Allana McElwain of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lillian Faye Gatlin

Graveside services for Lillian Faye Gatlin of Kilmichael are Monday, June 18, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Kilmichael.
Mrs. Gatlin, 73, died at her home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She was born on Jan. 14, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Wiley Turner and Lemmie Day Dewett. Mrs. Gatlin was a retired employee of Walmart in Winona and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Gatlin Pearson.
Mrs. Gatlin is survived by her husband Leon Gatlin of Kilmichael; son Chris Gatlin of Montgomery, Ala.; sisters, Joyce Tooms of Grenada, Dot Murff of Lafayette, La., and Dean Taylor of Mendenhall; brother Ed Dewett of Tupelo; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jo Alice Taylor Little

Jo Alice Taylor Little, 79, of Grenada, died Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Grenada Living Center surrounded by family.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Paul Baptist Cemetery, Grenada. Bro. Levi Garrett will officiate.
Mrs. Little was born Aug. 2, 1938, the daughter of Hubert and Alene Taylor of Charleston. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Fonda Little; and sister Wilma Burt.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Melody) Little of Grenada, John Little of Grenada, Scott (Jackie) Little of Grenada, Kay Collins of Grenada; brother Dwaine (Nancy) Taylor of Cascilla; and eight grandchildren.

Mary Gladys Mister

Funeral services for Mary Gladys “Sis” Nicholson Mister of Coffeeville are Saturday at 11 a.m, at the Mt. Moriah Association Building with burial in Rocky Mt. Cemetery.
Mrs. Mister, 75, died at UMMC-Grenada on June 10, 2018. She was born on May 7, 1942.
Mrs. Mister is survived by her husband Robert Earl Mister of Coffeeville; three daughters, Mary Ann Bland of Coffeeville, Linda Ann Clark of Oakland and Sharon Bland of Huntsville, Ala.; and son Robert K. Mister of Dallas.
