Mr. Denley, 84, died at his residence May 7.  He was born in Leflore County on Sept. 1, 1933, to Hosea Watson and Sarah Maggie Koonce Denley.

Bobbie Allen Hood

Bobby Allen Hood, of Grenada, died Sunday, May 6, 2018, at his home in Grenada.
Hood was born August 30, 1939, to the late Bob and Birdie Hood. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Hood and two brothers, Robert Hood and Stewart Hood Sr.
Services were held at Bethel Church in Carrollton.

Adams Jones Jr.

Funeral services for Adam Jones Jr. of Grenada are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Greater Powell Chapel AME Church with burial in Haven Rest Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, 69, passed away Monday, May 8, 2018, at his home.  He was born on Dec. 27, 1948, to the late Adam Jones, Sr. and the late Heniretta Myers Carver.
He was a member of Greater Powell Chapel AME Church. He served as a member of the Sons of Allen, the choir and men’s Sunday school class.
