When one area struggles, it’s up to another area to pick up the slack.
That was the case when Grenada hosted West Point in a division contest Friday.
Offensively, the Chargers managed five hits and were bothered by two many strikeouts. The story, however, was the pitching of junior Bailey Allbritton.
Allbritton pitched a complete game allowing two hits and struck out eight as the Chargers won a 5-1 decision.
With the win, GHS improves to 10-4 overall and 3-1 inside the division.
