In a recent special called December meeting, the Grenada City Council voted on pay increases for five city contractual employees.

According to minutes from that meeting, pay increases were given to the city’s municipal judge (Rusty Harlow); city engineer (Robert Willis); city attorney (Mary Brown); city public defender (Robbi Wilson); and city prosecutor (Jennifer Adams-Williams).

The minutes of the meeting do not state the amount of the increases or the names of the individuals.
The motion was made by Ward Four City Councilman Ernest Hargrove and seconded by Ward Two Councilman Frederick “Pete” Wilson.
