Danny Asbury of Mount Olive, Ark., died Dec. 30, 2017.
Mr. Ashbury was born Nov. 12, 1948, in Paris, Tenn. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Grenada.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Asbury of Mount Olive; son Michael Daniel Ashbury, four sisters, Alice Smith of Olive Branch, Laura Gilliland Horn Lake, Mary Ann Theisen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Fleta Ann Boss of Blytheville, Ark.; one brother, Mark Edward Asbury of Horn Lake.
Graveside funeral service was held Jan. 2 at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Reesie Lee Goodwin Robinson
Reesie Lee White Goodwin Robinson of Starkville passed away on Jan. 6, 2018.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville. She loved dancing and teaching dancing and had a great love for animals.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh D. White and Evelyn Mae Borum of Columbia, Tenn.
She leaves behind two daughters, Kim Goodwin Reves (Ricky) of Mathiston and Kade Goodwin Laws-Andrews (Wade) of Magnolia Springs, Ala.; brother Hugh D. White Jr. of Columbia, Tenn.; sister Phyllis J. White of Columbia, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Ryan Reves (MacKenzie) of Vicksburg, Lauren Reves Hollis (Jonny) of Starkville, Jaci Laws and Jada Laws of Magnolia Springs, Ala.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, with a memorial service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Clifton Curtis will conduct the service

Lillian Harville White
Funeral services for Lillian Harville White, 93, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada.
Visitation is Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Mrs. White died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at her home.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1924, in Grenada and was the daughter of the late Jim Lee Harville and Florence Odom Harville.
Mrs. White was employed by Bell South Telephone as an operator. She was a member Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. White was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and supported many worthy causes including the American Red Cross and the Boys Ranch.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Arlee White, one sister and four brothers.
She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Jean McCluskey of Flowood, Mary K. Crews of Oxford, and Barbara Lynn Tullos of Flowood; one son Thomas White of Grenada; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Peggy Blaylock Williamson
Peggy Ann Blaylock Williamson, 83, known to her family as “Nannie,” passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Grenada Health and Rehab.
She was born Nov. 17, 1934, in Carroll County to Falcon and Inez Ezell Blaylock. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Carroll County. She was a devoted wife and mother. Peggy was the caregiver of her grandchildren and taking care of them was the joy of her life.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with the Rev. Billy Little officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
Survivors include a son Steve Williamson; daughter Teresa Cummings (John); four grandchildren, Brandy Hyde, Cassidy Williamson (Kassie), Megan Sistrunk (Russell) and Lauren Cummings; seven great-grandchildren, John Steven Hyde, Destiny Hyde, Jasmine Hyde, Joseph Hyde, Leah Williamson, Sophie Mack Sistrunk and Ty Sistrunk; a sister-in-law, Frances Mullen and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bill; her parents; a son Garrett Williamson; a brother James Blaylock and two sisters, Sarah Lancaster and Ellen Williamson.
Pallbearers will be Art Blake, Dwight Lancaster, Mike Nabors, Dennis Little, Trent Little and Steve Long.
