A seven-year-old boy is recovering after accidentally shooting himself with a handgun the day before Thanksgiving.
Deputies with the Grenada County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shooting involving a small child around 3:35 Wednesday in the 1200 block of Hebron Church Road.
“When deputies arrived they were informed that the child was playing with a gun and it accidentally discharged,” said County Investigator Josh Dale.
