A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in
connection with a Saturday morning shooting death on Plum Street.
Assistant Grenada Police Chief Major George Douglas identified the man arrested as Craig Williams, who was apprehended Tuesday following an issued warrant.
The shooting happened around 3 a.m. on Oct. 21. Police found 20-year-old Montez Ammus shot to multiple times in a vacant lot in the 600 block of Plum Street.
According to Douglas, Williams is being held at the Grenada County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
