Grenada Police are investigating the shooting death of a young man whose body was discovered early Saturday morning.
Police officials identified the man as Martez Amos, 20. His body was found in a vacant lot in the 600 block of Plum Street at about 3 a.m. Authorities confirm that Amos was shot to death.
This marks the city’s fifth homicide of the year, and its second in less than two weeks. A teen identified by police as Alexander Trevone Farmer, 17, died in a shooting on Adams Street on Oct. 12.
