Another one of the city’s overdue audits is finally complete, according to City Manager Trey Baker.

Baker announced Wednesday that the 2014-15 audit has been finished by Oxford-CPA Ronnie Windham.

“I received the Independent Auditor’s Report from our accounting firm last week,” Baker said. “I will be reviewing it and presenting it to the Grenada

City Council for approval at our next regular meeting on Aug. 14.”
Receiving this audit keeps the city on track with the financial stability plan that Baker put into place in November 2016.

The city received the 2014 Independent Auditor’s Report in February 2017.
Now that the 2015 audit has been received, Baker said he anticipates that the 2016 audit will be completed by the end of the year.
