Railroad Bridge damaged by fire

Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that heavily damaged the railroad bridge that spans the Yalobusha River in downtown Grenada.

The fire was discovered Wednesday. Rail traffic is now shutdown south of Grenada.

Details are still being obtained, and GrenadaStar will have a full report in Friday’s newspaper.
