A Winona man is dead as a result of a motorcycle wreck inside the Grenada city limits.
Assistant Police Chief George Douglas said the accident happened Sunday morning on Cecil Shelton Drive.
Douglas identified the man as Randy D. Woods, 23, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Douglas said it appears that Woods was traveling at an undetermined speed and lost control of his Kawasaki motorcycle.
“The accident happened around 7:52,” Douglas said. “Upon the arrival of the Grenada County Coroner, Woods was pronounced dead.”
