Per order of the state auditor, all 4,300 students of the Grenada School District must reverify proof of residency as the district prepares to kick off the upcoming year.
“This process is going on right now, and we’re about 75 percent finished,” said Superintendent Dr. David Daigneault. “We know that some people may find it frustrating, since they’ve lived here all their lives, but we ask that they bare with us as we follow the wishes of the state auditor.”
Each student must produce two documents that clearly demonstrate that he or she lives within the county.
