The Lake City played host to a Mississippi celebrity recently as Walt Grayson, of Public Broadcasting fame, made the rounds taking video for the Tourism Commission.
Grayson, who is best known as the host of “Mississippi Roads,” on MPB, was working for a company called Solutions Group of Jackson.
The group is producing a promotional video for the Tourism Commission.
The commission is paying the company $15,000 to produce a succinct, five-minute segment that features the cultural aspects of the Lake City.
The company has already finished a similar video that showcases the county’s sporting opportunities, including crappie fishing and duck hunting.
