Grenada’s paper mill has logged more than 250,000 hours of work without a reportable injury, and the parent company is donating two big checks to the community to say thanks.
Resolute Forest Products donated $2,500 to the Grenada Food Pantry, and $2,500 to the Grenada Soup Kitchen in recognition of the company’s outstanding accomplishment in safety.
“Safety is a priority for Resolute,” said Vice President Sylvain Proulx, who made the trip down
from Canada for the presentation.
“We want our people to work hard but safely, and this recognition is evidence of that.”
