Grenada has added a new grocery store to its business community.
Save a Lot Food Stores opened Dec. 28, and Sunday the 14,000-square-foot store was buzzing with customers.
Greeter Lakeisha Campbell welcomed  Ruby Davis with a smile and a handshake in front of a stand of bananas near the door. Cashier Shuannita Green rang up customer Sandra Tallant Stowers’s groceries, and asked her how her day was going.
Store supervisor Jeff McKnight walked down the checkout isles, watching over everything.
“Our products are mostly generic and speciality brands from companies with whom we contract, but we ensure satisfaction for everything under our roof,” said McKnight, who supervises the store, as well as its sister stores in Indianaola.
