The preseason is now over and now both the Grenada Lady Chargers and Chargers
get ready for the real season.
Grenada begins Region 2-6A play on the road Tuesday night at Hernando. Although GHS has experienced a lot of success against Hernando in the past. It will be the first time that these games have added importance. The Tigers moved into Grenada’s region this season after making
the move to Class 6A.
Both the boys’ and girls’ coaches know the importance of getting off to a good start in region play.
“When you don’t have but six games in the district, it’s no question important to get off to a good start,” GHS girls’ Coach Ken Ross said. “It would be nice to go on the road and get a win.”
