Some of the same problems that the first-year coach inherited have continued at times through this season. Not so much from a win standpoint, the program has struggled since the 2008 season with just being competitive in games.
“There was a stretch a few weeks back that I thought we were making some progress,” McCrory said. “Last week, we made some steps backwards. You could see it coming because we had a bad week of practice heading into the Indianola game. This upcoming offseason is important if we want to get this thing turned around.”
McCrory would like nothing more than to see his team close with a solid effort against the Colts.
