Thank you to the All Saints Episcopal Church members and rector, the Rev. Elizabeth Wheatley-Jones, and the 38 local artists who exhibited their talents and handiworks at the community art exhibit “Art Among the Arches,” which was beautifully staged in All Saints House on Sunday, Oct. 6.
What a treat greeted Grenadians who walked through those doors!
Truly a myriad of art venues from knitting to water color, pottery to still life, sculpture to photography, and mediums not identified awed guests. The exhibit could compete with major art exhibits in major galleries throughout the state (and I have visited many). I have always stated that Grenada has an abundance of talent, and it was so evident Sunday afternoon. The staging was as artistic as the beautiful works of art and so cleverly designed by the Girault Jones, who also exhibited!
For those of you who missed this event, it was a serendipity of sunshine on a dreary, rainy afternoon. Thank you again and know that your efforts were most sincerely appreciated.
