A Grenada man who was facing a murder charge has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in circuit court, according to court records.
Reginald Singleton, who was charged in connection with the shooting death of J.B. Reed last April, pleaded guilty to manslaughter. He was sentenced to 20 years in the state prison.
On a separate charge, court records show Singleton also pleaded guilty to unauthorized possession of contraband in a correctional facility and was sentenced to 10 years.
Other pleas heard recently in the January term include:
- Mazarrious Robinson, charged with armed robbery, pleaded guilty to lesser charge of strong arm robbery, sentenced to 15 years, five years suspended, 10 years probation; a separate charge was dismissed.
