K.C. Blanks, of Grenada, died Tuesday at his residence.

Jimmie Golliday

Jimmie Golliday, 76, of Grenada, died Friday at his residence.

The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Rogers C. Haley

Rogers Corley Haley, 84, of Grenada, died Monday at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Haley was a retired switchman for BellSouth. He was a former deacon, an usher and member of First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school.

Mr. Haley was a member of the Civitan Club and the Telephone Pioneers. He was also a United States World War II Army veteran.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Williams and the Rev. Lennie Haley officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Haley is survived by his wife, Nell Miller Haley o Grenada; four sons, Bob Haley, Glenn Haley, both of Grenada, Wayne Haley of Dillon, Colo. and Bruce Haley of Edmond, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Lorene Henson

WINONA – Lorene Henson, 63, of Kilmichael, died Monday at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital.

Mrs. Henson was a homemaker. She was a member of Huntsville Church of Christ near Kilmichael.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dan Beardain officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Choctaw County.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Henson was the widow of Robert E. Henson.

She is survived by five sons, Bob Henson Jr. of Winona, Harold Henson, Mike Henson, Randy Henson, all of Kilmichael and Wayne Henson of Vaiden; a daughter, Cindy Poe of Grenada; three brothers, Henry Massey of Stewart, Robert Massey of Kilmichael and Junior Manus of Tomnolen; two sisters, Betty Weeks of Weir and Merle Nail of Stewart; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Judge E. Pittman

CALHOUN CITY – Judge Edgar Pittman, 95, of Jacksonville, Fla., a native of Gore Springs, died Saturday at Orange Park Medical Center.

Mr. Pittman was retired steam fitter. He was a member of Murry Hill United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pittman Cemetery in Webster County with the Rev. Eddie Brock officiating.

Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Nuckolls Pittman; and his parents, Edgar Lee Pittman and Jeff Ray Pittman.

He is survived by a son, Lloyd ‘Mike’ Inlow of Bolivar, Tenn.; two daughters, Wanda Humphries of Arlington, Tenn. and Bonnie Ennis of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Merrell L. Pittman o Gore Springs; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Eddie J. Ratliff, 61, of Grenada, died Saturday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.

Thelma Watt, 47, of Grenada, died Friday at The Med in Memphis, Tenn.
