Josephine Edwards, 66, of Grenada, died January 31 at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. P.L. Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Duck Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband, Lamar Edwards of Grenada; three daughters, Willie Inez Bledsoe, Gertrude Drinkwater, both of Grenada and Josie Marie Jackson of Denver, Colo.; five brothers, Henry Lee Edwards of Grenada, Joe Edwards Sr., James Edwards, Johnny Edwards and Benny Lee Edwards, all of Gary, Ind.; 46 grandchildren; and 57 great-grandchildren.
Clark Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Zelma L. Greer
Zelma Louise Brown Greer, 87, of Grenada, died today at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mrs. Greer was a homemaker.
The funeral was 2 p.m. today at Garner-Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Frank Samples officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Carroll County.
Mrs. Greer was the widow of Jasper Greer.
She is survived by three sons, James C. ‘Doc’ Greer, Winfred H. Greer, both of Grenada and Charles W. Greer of Scobey; a daughter, Irene G. Henson of Grenada; two brothers, Jack Brown of Gore Springs and Wardell Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; a sisters, Nannie Hood of Carrollton; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Garner-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
