Juanita H. Langford

CALHOUN CITY – Juanita Harpole Langford, 66, died Sunday at North Mississippi Medical Center.

Mrs. Langford was a retired employee of Calhoun County Nursing Home. She was a member of Derma Pentecostal Church.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. today at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Thomas Galloway and Frankie Martin officiating. Burial was in Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma.

Mrs. Langford was preceded in death by her parents, Byron Harpole and Jewel Parker Harpole; and two brothers, Robert Harpole and J.B. Harpole.

She is survived by her husband, Travis Langford of Calhoun City; two sons, Benny Langford and Kenneth Langford, both of Calhoun City; a daughter, Rebecca Langford of Vardaman; a sister, Yancy Dean Smith of Calhoun City; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Langford, Jonathan Haire and Kaylee Haire.

Pallbearers were Ronald Harpole, Billy Parker, Bill Bailey, Tony Langford, Rickie Parker and Michael Hardin.

Pryor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ralph W. Peeples

Ralph Wagner Peeples, 89, of Coffeeville, died Saturday at his residence.

Mr. Peeples was a retired merchant – Peeples Hardware & Furniture. He was a member of Coffeeville Methodist Church for 65 years.

The funeral was at 3 p.m. Monday at Coffeeville Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy McCord officiating. Burial was in Coffeeville Cemetery.

Mr. Peeples was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Sayle Peeples; and a daughter, Elaine P. Boyle.

He is survived by three sons, Ralph Lawrence Peeples of Brookhaven, Durrett B. Peeples and Bradley S. Peeples, both of Coffeeville; two daughters, Patricia P. Covington and Flavia P. Waddell, both of Coffeeville; a sister, Mildred P. Smith of Tucson, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to Coffeeville Methodist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Garner-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lynda L. White

BATESVILLE – Lynda Louise White, 39, of Benicia, Calif., a native of Chicago, Ill., died Wednesday at her residence.

Mrs. White was a computer analyst for Pacific Bell. She was a member of North Gate Christian Fellowship in Benicia, Calif.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tom Boyce officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. White is survived by her parents, William & Carnelia parish White of Marks; and a sister, Karen Lynn White of Marks.

Wells Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
