Eva Boles

Eva Boles, 82, of Philipp, died January 25 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Boles was a homemaker. She was also a Baptist.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Philipp with the Rev. L.C. Blue officiating. Burial will be in Holly Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Boles was the widow of Leon Boles.

She is survived by three cousins, Eliza G. Price, Robert L. Grant and Curtis Grant.

Ella M. Criss

Ella Mae Criss, 68, of Gore Springs, died Thursday at her residence.

The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

David D. Guy

CHARLESTON – David Dewayne ‘Bubba’ Guy, 32, of Grenada, died Wednesday at his residence.

Mr. Guy was a truck drive.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Newsom Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Stonefield Cemetery in Cascilla.

Mr. Guy is survived by his parents, David and Inez Guy of Grenada; and a sister, Renee Sills of Charleston.

Kenyada S. Jackson

Kenyada Scott Jackson, 7, of Grenada, died January 27 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona.

Maser Jackson was a Baptist.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Gore Springs with the Rev. Daniel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Master Jackson is survived by his parents, Sheila and Herman Jackson of Grenada; two sisters, Angela Jackson and Karen Jackson, both of Grenada; his grandmothers, Wardeen Butler and Robie Crockett, both of Grenada; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Henry L. Townes

Henry L. Townes, 77, of Grenada, died Tuesday in Grenada.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bell Flower Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Haven Rest Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Townes was preceded in death by a son, John Townes.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Townes of Grenada; two sons, James H. Townes of Milwaukee, Wis. and Peter Townes of Grenada; four grandchildren, Stacy Brandy, Jessica Spearman, Michael Townes an Frederick Townes; and other relatives and friends.

Clark Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rosie Winters

Rosie Winters, 88, of Grenada, formerly of Coffeeville, died January 25 at Grenada Lake Medical Center.

Mrs. Winters was a member of Greater Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Greater Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Nick Reed officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Winters is survived by two sons, Jenola Winters and Charlie Winters Jr.; and two daughters, Annie Bell Appleton and Freddie Hardiman.
