Willie L. Anderson
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Willie Lee Anderson, 60, a native of Grenada, died December 30 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, the Gospel Chorus/Mass Choir and the Mother’s Board.
The funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. A.F. Caver officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by two sons, Wilbon Anderson Jr. and Frank Anderson; three daughters, Phyllis Kay Crayton, Pearline Lee and Cleo Marie Anderson; a brother, Frank Henry Woods of Chicago, Ill.; four sisters, Claudia Brown, Earnestine Jones, Viggar L. Moss, all of Grenada, and Bessie M. Lincoln of Memphis, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Henry D. Ashmore
Henry D. Ashmore, of Grenada, died Sunday at Webster General Hospital in Eupora.
The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Jessie M. Donley
Jessie Mae Donley, 77, of Grenada, formerly of Tutwiler, died Wednesday at Grenada Health & Rehab Center.
Mrs. Donley was a member of Bell Flower Missionary Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bell Flower Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Sweethome Cemetery.
Mrs. Donley is survived by four sons, J.C. Garfield, Ruben Donley, George Donley, all of Grenada and Dailey Donley of Drew; and two sisters, Luerether Calhoun of St. Louis, Mo. and Irene Spencer of Tutwiler.

Sammy Ellett, 91, of Grenada, died Saturday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mr. Ellett was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Tillatoba Baptist Church.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at Union Cemetery in Tillatoba with the Rev. Clarence Cooper officiating.
Mr. Ellett is survived by a brother, Lawrence ‘Buddy’ Ellett of Charleston; two sisters, Marie Bratton of Tillatoba and Pauline Kerr of Grenada.
National Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mary L. Fly
WATER VALLEY – Mary Louise Fly, 85, died Friday at her residence.
Mrs. Fly was a homemaker. She was a member of Goshen Methodist Church.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goshen Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy McCord officiating. Burial was in Goshen Cemetery in Yalobusha County.
Mrs. Fly was the widow of Fletcher ‘Buddy’ Fly Sr.
She is survived by four sons, George P. Fly, Fletcher Fly Jr., William Roy Fly, all of Coffeeville and Manchie Benjamin Fly of Water Valley; three sisters, Estelle Jones, Edna Pearl Watson, Myrle Bolen, all of Water Valley; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Emily L. Hannah
CALHOUN CITY – Emily Louise Hannah, 66, of Darian, Ga., died Friday in Georgia.
Mrs. Hannah was a homemaker and a piano teacher.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Vance officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Big Creek.
Mrs. Hannah is survived by her husband, Rev. Ed Hannah of Darian, Ga.; two sons, Eddie Hannah Jr. of Vansant, Va. and Jimmy Ray Hannah of St. Simon, Ga.; a daughter, Gloria Hannah of Darian, Ga.; two brothers, Rev. Lowery Guest of Vardaman and Rev. Dan Guest of Gore Springs; and a sister, Dianne Johnson of Grenada.

Margaret K. Oliver
WINONA – Margaret Kirk Oliver, 76, of Ridgeland, died Saturday at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Mrs. Oliver was a homemaker. She was a member of Spring Hill Garden Club of Atlanta, Ga. and John Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Ga.
The funeral was at 11 a.m. today at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John L. Walker, Kenneth Kirk and W.M. Hull officiating. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery near Duck Hill.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by her husband, Charles B. Oliver of Ridgeland; two sons, Jerry Oliver of Avon, Colo. and Kirk B. Oliver of Athens, Ga.; a brother, Billy Kirk of LaGrange, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Burton ‘Top’ Hankins of Grenada and Beatrice Mascotti of Ironwood, Mich.; two grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.
