Cecil Gregory Ingram, of Grenada, died Tuesday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.

The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Onnie Y. Latham

Onnie Y. Latham, 92, of Grenada, died Tuesday at Beverly Healthcare Center in Grenada.

O.V. McGuirt

O.V. McGuirt, 64, of Bruce, a native of Lafayette County, died Saturday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Mr. McGuirt was a sawmill worker and a self-employed barber. He was a member of the Bruce Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bruce Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Thomas Tillman officiating. Burial will be in Zion Springs Cemetery.

Douglas Mills

WINONA – Douglas Mills, 57, of Duck Hill, died Monday morning in Grenada.

Mr. Mills was a forklift operator for Heatcraft, Inc. of Grenada. He was a member of Eskridge Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Richard Morman and Terry Corley officiating. Burial will be in Eskridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Mills is survived by two sons, Chris Mills of Vaiden and Randy Mills of Grenada; five brothers, Leroy Mills of Winona, Neal Mills of La Port, Texas, Thomas Mills, Jimmy Ray Mills, both of Eskridge and Marvin Mills of Buffalo, Texas; four sisters, Florene Hines of North Carolina, Pam Self of Madison, Maxine McCorkle of Vaiden and Peggy Sullivan of Raleigh; and three grandchildren, Morgan Mills, Josh Mills and Kelsey Brower.

Oliver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Selma M. Morgan

Selma Martin Morgan, 77, of Grenada, died today at Grenada Lake Medical Center.

Mrs. Morgan was a retired supervisor for Pennaco Hosiery Mill. She was a member of Elliott Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery with Bro. Norris Corley officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30-10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Morgan was the widow of James Morgan.

She is survived by two brothers, Joe Martin of Henderson, Ky. and Billy Martin of Owensboro, Ky.; three sisters, Helen Young of Canton, Corinne Steen of Ridgeland and Sue Sandford of Robard, Ky.; and two grandchildren, Terry Morgan of Tupelo and Michael Morgan of Nashville, Tenn.

National Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Calvin Woods

WINONA – Calvin Woods, 47, died Monday morning in Grenada.

Mr. Woods was a production supervisor for Heatcraft, Inc. of Grenada. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church near Duck Hill.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. today at North Winona Baptist Church with the Revs. Elvis Vance and Terry Edward officiating. Burial was in Scotland Cemetery in Winona.

Mr. Woods was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Lyn Woods; and his mother, Annice Woods.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cooper Woods of Winona; two sons, Rusty Woods of Oxford and Tracy Woods of Winona; his father, Russell Woods of Grenada; two brothers, Robert Woods of Pearl and Ronald Gene Woods of Vaiden; a sister, Vernell Gibson of Carmack; two grandchildren; 17 nephews; and three nieces.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
