Bert Bays Sr., 83, of Grenada, died today at the Grenada Lake Medical Center.
The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Leona W. Hall
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Leona Weeks Hall, formerly of Grenada, died Friday in Traverse City.
Mrs. Hall was the first woman president of the Public Relation Association of Michigan, became the executive director of the Greater Michigan Foundation and was sponsor of Michigan Week. She was a clerk for the state Senator Taxation Committee chaired by Sen. James T. Milliken.
Mrs. Hall was a member of the Economic Club of Detroit, Women’s Advertising Club of Detroit, Organization Executives of Michigan, Women’s Press Club, Zonta Club of Lansing and the East Lansing Women’s Club.
Memorials services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 28 at the Presbyterian Church in Traverse City.
Mrs. Hall was the widow of Donald C. Weeks and L.S. Hall.
She is survived by five daughters, Susan Hester of Middletown, R.I., Ellen Johnstone of Traverse City, Mich., Carol Moorman of Brookings, S.D., Janet Hethorn of Wilmington, Del. and Debbie Brown of Lake Leelanau; a stepson, George Weeks of Glen Arbor; a sister, Winefred Retzloff of Lansing; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Sweet, Kerry Sweet, Tammi Messersmith, Jesse Moorman, Rachel Pham, Caden Hethorn and Marco Brown; and a great-grandchild, Kai Pham.
Memorials may be sent to the Presbyterian Church.

Clifford N. Hicks
GREENWOOD – Clifford Nolan Hicks, 45, died Sunday at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital.
Mr. Hicks was a retired self-employed carpenter and worked for Greenwood Utilities for 11 years. He was also a Greenwood Exchange Club baseball coach for over 21 years.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. O. Lawrence Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Mary Haddon Hicks of Greenwood; two sons, Clifford H. Hicks Jr. and Jerry Allen Hicks, both of Greenwood; two daughters, Lisa Hicks Beavers and Amanda Lenor Hicks, both of Greenwood; two brothers, Arthur Hicks Sr. and William Baker, both of Greenwood; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Randolph, James Blankenship, Arthur Hicks Jr., Dayton Harris, Thomas Beavers, Keith Peeples, Ronnie Hicks and Walter Beam.
Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Katie H. McCaulla
Katie Heath McCaulla, 95, of Grenada, died Monday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mrs. McCaulla was a retired licensed practical nurse and homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church in Carroll County.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McCaulla was the widow of Jim L. McCaulla Sr.
She is survived by a son, Jim L. McCaulla Jr. of Bartlett, Tenn.; two daughters, Tommie M. Childers and Katherine M. Winebrenner, both of Grenada; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
