COLLIERVILLE, TN – Jessie Stovall-Hudson, age 81, died Tuesday, July 25 at Collierville Heath & Rehab.
Mrs. Stovall-Hudson was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick, Tenn.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 28 at 1 p.m. at Refuge Cemetery in Selmer, Tenn.
Mrs. Stovall-Hudson was the wife of Roy L. Hudson of Grenada.
She is survived by a daughter – Jean S. Churchill of Water Valley; a son – Dr. Kenneth W. Stovall of Collierville, Tenn.; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Collierville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Hattie Stewart Taylor
CALHOUN CITY – Hattie Stewart Taylor, age 101, died Tuesday, July 25 at Carraway Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Services will be held Friday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Baker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma. Visitation will be Friday, July 28 between 12 and 2.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband – Sam Edd Taylor; her parents – Benjamin Stewart and Elizabeth Ramage Stewart; 2 daughters – Mozell Watson and Martha Nell Craft; 1 grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by two daughters – Maurine Roberts and Jimmie Wooldridge both of Winfield, AL; two sisters – Oradean Martin of Sarepta and Marene Taylor of Houston; two brothers – Upton Stewart of Fordyce, Ark. and Willie B. Stewart of Calhoun City; 7 grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Niday, Joey Niday, James Warren, Bennie Stewart, R.B. Stewart, and Rickey Williams.
Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
