Addie Louise Sink Person
  Addie Louise Sink Person, 85, died peacefully at her home Dec. 11, in Greenwood. Services will be held at St. John’s United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Jack Smith officiated.
   Mrs. Person grew up in Greensboro, N.C., where she attended Greensboro Woman’s College. There she met and married Milton Person. She and her husband, Dr. Milton Person, moved to Greenwood in 1954 where she was a  homemaker and communicant of the First United Methodist Church and later a charter member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. Mrs. Person served as President of Greenwood Junior Auxiliary, Greenwood Garden Club, and Le Bonte Club. Family and friends were very dear to her. She loved to play bridge, and in later years especially the company of the “Merry Widow Supper Club.”
   She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Milton T. Person Jr.; two sons, Jon Ormand Person and Milton Thomas Person III; and one grandson, William Thomas Person.
   Mrs. Person is survived by sons, Mike Person (Betty) of Oxford, Miss., Brett Person (Ann) of Miramar Beach, Fla.; daughters, Susie Riddell (Mal) of Grenada, Jayne Gillespie (George) of Hattiesburg, Miss., Tana Graham (Howard) of Oxford, and daughter-in-law, Elena Person. Her grandchildren are Kate Person (Adam), Jon Michael Person, Tucker Guerry (Bill), Mary Tana Garner (Justin), Brett Person (JoAnna), Beth Ayers (Jim), Jenny Wilburn (Jonathan), Mandy Lea (Josh), Shaw Riddell (Laura), Anna Munroe (Scott), Tripp Gillespie (Miranda), Chris Gillespie, Jayne Claire Gillespie, O’Keefe Graham (Ann Morgan), Tan Graham, Christina Person, Susan Louise Person and Thomas Person.
   The family extends special thanks to her caregivers Irene Staples, Lou Jordan, Renay Nash, Sheila Freedman, Joyce Goin, Alice Hodo, and Aggie Moore; and also, to the ICU staff of Greenwood Leflore Hospital and to Tammy Adams of Community Hospice.
   Pallbearers are her grandsons, Tripp Gillespie, Chris Gillespie, Shaw Riddell, Brett Person, O’Keefe Graham and Jon Michael Person.
   Burial will follow the service at the Mausoleum at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Wilson & Knight Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
   The family requests memorials be made to the Milton Person Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. John’s United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
