It’s been a long time coming for the Grenada Lady Chargers.
After winning just three basketball games last season, GHS was off to an 0-5 start this season.
Tuesday, Grenada faced Hernando at the GHS gumnasium. The contest was an early preview of the new basketball region next season. Hernando will make the move to Class 6A and will be in the division with Grenada, Tupelo, and South Panola.
The Lady Chargers had two big offensive quarters, and held on for a 66-61 win over Hernando.
