Police have administered three polygraph tests in connection with two recent murders in Grenada.
According to Interim Chief Russell Carver, two people were questioned Wednesday as to their knowledge of the shooting James Edward Simmons, a case that police are now unequivocally calling a homicide.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigations, along with federal marshals, are assisting in the case, Carver said Tuesday.
Simmons, 71, was found dead in a storage room in Mac’s Package Store on Hwy. 8 East around 9:24 p.m. on Nov. 15.
