RIDGELAND - The final scores were 17-3 and 2-0.
Despite the contrasting scores, there was a recurring theme in the State Class 6A Slow Pitch Softball Finals between NW Rankin and Grenada.
It was the inability of the Lady Chargers to string together some hits against the South Champion. They also couldn’t keep the ball out of the air resulting in countless fly ball outs. The result was a pair of losses and a runner up finish to the squad from Flowood.
