OLIVE BRANCH – Once again, the inability to take care of the football was the undoing for the Grenada Chargers.
Trailing 7-0, GHS was driving for the game-tying points late in the first half. On a third down play, Olive Branch intercepted a pass in the end zone to end the threat.
The Conquistadors turned the miscue into points driving 80 yards in less than two minutes increasing the margin to 14-0 at intermission. That turnaround was crucial as Olive Branch added a second half touchdown to win a 21-0 decision.
