The cracking sound of a breaking tree brought Rodney Williams outside, and moments later his house was destroyed.
“I heard the crack, then ran outside to try to move my work truck, and I saw the house coming to pieces,” said Williams, referring to the cruiser he uses to patrol Mississippi highways as a state trooper.
