Not many people gave the Grenada Lady Chargers much of a chance this season to have a winning record much less a chance to play for a state championship.
   They have both.
Tuesday, GHS continued their hot late season play sweeping division rival Columbus 8-3 and 11-5 for the North 6A title.
The wins improve the Lady Chargers to 18-14 on the season. They move on to the Class 6A Championship Series against South Champion NW Rankin (29-5).
