MADISON – Two weeks ago, the Grenada Lady Chargers had a 6-11 record. It looked their stay in the postseason would be a short one.
They put together a six-game winning streak before closing with two home losses to defending Class 5A champion New Hope. Grenada opened the Class 6A Playoffs with a series sweep of Warren Central.
That opening series win sent them against defending Class 6A champ Madison Central. The Lady Jaguars downed GHS to win the North 6A title en route to the State Title.
