The state auditor’s office has concluded its investigation in Grenada, which apparently targeted one city councilman -- not the city’s entire financial operations.
According to a Report of Investigation from the office of State Auditor Stacey Pickering, “on June 6, 2012, the Office of the State Auditor (OSA) received a complaint against Lewis Johnson, Councilman, alleging the following: Embezzlement.”
“After a thorough investigation of the complaint it was determined that the allegations were false,” the report stated.
