A new tutoring program kicked off with great success Saturday at the Grenada Boys and Girls Club.
Some 20 youngsters from 4th grade through high school showed up to participate in the Saturday Academy, starting at 9 a.m.
In one corner, 4th graders worked on sample questions and puzzles based on the MCT II standardized test. Some 6th and 7th graders worked on their coordinate planes, while others wrestled with geometry. The older students tackled the tough subject of pre-algebra.
