Grenada baseball boosters want to make more than $42,000 worth of improvements to the team’s facilities.
Director of Students Tim Wilder advised the school board at its meeting Tuesday that he’d been approached by parents who were willing to sign for a loan that would improve the batting cage
facilities. The school would contribute $8,000, which was already budgeted for improvements,
Wilder said, and the boosters would be responsible for the balance.
The boosters would then donate the money to the school district, according to Wilder.
