Kimberly Jane Bounds Mims
Kimberly Jane Bounds Mims, 48, of Grenada, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1963, in Clarksdale to Thomas Giles Bounds and Judy Ann Lundberg Bounds. She was raised in Clarksdale, where she attended St. George's Episcopal School, Lee Academy and graduated from Ole Miss summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then married and raised four children.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas Giles Bounds and Judy Ann Lundberg Bounds of Grenada; one son, Taylor Brently Mims of Grenada; three daughters, Joanna Mims of Southaven, Sarah Mims of Grenada and Katie Mims of Grenada; one grandchild, Kamryn Mims Hudson of Southaven.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Fern Lundberg of Grenada. and Amos and Georgia Bounds of Newton, Miss.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, Oct. 7, at 4 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada, with visitation from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.
Memorials may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada or charity of choice.
