A man accused of murdering a Grenada man and seriously wounding two others in a Monday night shooting isn’t confessing, according to police.
A man identified as Terrance Travon House, a.k.a. “Tubby,” was arrested around 5:30 a.m., Oct. 2, near his home on Line St., according to Interim Police Chief Russell Carver.
The 23-year-old was charged with critically wounding Marvis Swims, 32, as well as shooting Somalia Mecole Mosley and Chatezes Spears in a home on the 1000 block of Poplar Street. The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, according to police reports.
Swims died of gunshot wounds from a .22 caliber handgun at Grenada Lake Medical Center.     Spears, who was shot in the arm, was released Wednesday from the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, according to Carver. Mosley, who was shot just above the eye, remained in stable but serious condition at the Med, Carver said.
