Grenada will honor a fallen police officer Friday with a dedication and unveiling of four road-markers.
Signs commemorating the spot where Capt. John Wayne Haddock gave his life in the line of duty have already been put in place near the intersection of I-55 and Hwy. 8 East. They’ll be uncovered during a brief commemoration ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Haddock was killed one year ago while putting down road spikes to stop a car involved in a high speed chase.
