   Little girls shouldn’t have to suffer so.
   “She went from a size 14-16 to a size 6, in a relatively short period of time,” said Emily Self, a mother who watched her 10-year-old daughter, Hailey, endure the ravages of diabetes.
   “We just couldn’t find what was wrong,” said Emily.  The family bounced from doctor to doctor, with Hailey complaining of an upset stomach and chest pains. She couldn’t pay attention in school.
One night, as Hailey knelt with her little head hanging over the toilet, she said something that nearly broke her mother’s heart.
   “Mama, you don’t know what I’d give to trade bodies with somebody who didn’t hurt everyday,” she said.
