Firefighters in Elliott have a handsome, new station from which to serve the community.
The department officially moved into the 4,000-square-foot building last week.
“The fire department has been the center of the community for years, now we have a crowning jewel to showcase,” said firefighter Alan Clemons.
Thursday, Clemons and his fellow firefighters worked on finishing touches at the station, and brought in groceries to feed folks at a grand-opening on Saturday.
