This Sunday the sound of praise will once again echo from the corner of South Main St. and South Line Street in downtown Grenada.
New Life Christian Fellowship will hold its first services in its new home, the former Grenada First Baptist Church.
“We’re very pleased to be moving into such a beautiful, spacious facility,” said the Rev. Ernest Hargrove, New Life’s senior pastor.
Tuesday evening youth from the church carried in a drum kit, furniture and other liturgical items in preparation for the Sunday service.
The spacious sanctuary, with its tall, lancet windows, isn’t yet ready for worship, so New Life will celebrate this week in a room upstairs on one of the education wings.
