Dalton Turner (6) fights for yardage through a couple of Carroll Academy tacklers during action last Fridiay night at Grenada. Turner had a touchdown run of 80 yards as the Raiders rallied for a 20-13 win over the Rebels. The win evened Kirk’s record at 2-2 heading into this weekend’s contest with North Delta at Batesville.

It may not have been a sense of urgency, but there was no question of the importance of this past weekend’s Kirk-Carroll contest.
The Raiders were coming off a pair of big losses and facing a winless Carroll team. It was the first division contest for both teams. That all being said, Kirk was in need of a win.
For the majority of the first half, the Raiders had their problems trailing 13-0. Late in the second period, Kirk got on the board and trailed 13-7 at intermission.
