TILLATOBA – A Germantown, Tenn., doctor is in critical condition at the MED in Memphis after his Cessna 210 airplane went around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night near Tillatoba.

Dr. Kenneth Byrd was en route from North Carolina to Water Valley when the crash took place, according to reports.

It took daylight and a search plane to pinpoint the plane’s location off County Road 237, north of Tillatoba.

Garrett Pollan, owner of Pollan Aviation in Grenada, spotted the plane Monday morning during an air search of the area.
