Two Greenwood men died in a near head-on collision on a county road early Tuesday.
According to Leflore County Sheriff Ricky Banks, Herman Earnest “Buddy” Wiggins, 69, was traveling north on Money Road, about four miles north of Greenwood, around 7:15 a.m., when his pickup collided with a car driven by Grammer Williams, 48.
Wiggins worked as a delivery man for a butane gas company in Tallahatchie County and was driving north, to the town of Money, to get into his truck and start his deliveries, the sheriff said.
