Those without insurance and who face other obstacles in obtaining health care are welcome to receive a free vitals screening Friday.
In celebration of National Health Center Week, the Family Health Care Clinic, at 1732 Commerce St. in Grenada, will make its resources available to anyone who cares to stop by.
There will also be free refreshments.
“We want to get the news out that we’re here to serve, regardless of a person’s ability to pay,” said Emma Hankins, business manager at the clinic.
The government-funded clinic offers its services on a sliding scale, according to household income.
