Grenada police have arrested seven men and expect to arrest more in connection with a shooting that took place outside a night club last week.
According to police reports, the seven conspired to cause injury to several people, among them Quentin Williams and A’Daryll Wiley, both of Grenada, by shooting at them outside Stuido 55, located on Sunset Drive, shortly before 3 a.m. on July 22.
The police reports gave no indication that either Wiley or Williams were injured.
According to the Grenada County Jail docket, those arrested last week were Lawrence Westbrook, 23 of Tillatoba, Qunicy Westbrook, 21, of Tillatoba, Willie Deloach, 24, of Grenada, Malcom Crump, 25, of Grenada, Lardarins “Dee” Reditt, 21, of Grenada and Justin Jacquez Pittman, 19, of Grenada.
The men are being held at the Grenada County Jail on charges ranging from aggravated assault to conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, according to Grenada Interim Police Chief James Carver.
Also arrested was Larry “Red” Jackson, who was tracked down in Louisiana with the help of U.S. marshals, Carver said.
